Our partners
BalticWaters collaborates with universities, Swedish governmental authorities, county administrative boards, and companies to carry out projects. Projects can be financed or co-financed by the foundation and an external party, they can be conducted by the foundation or in collaboration with an external party.
Strategic partners
- Axfood is a strategic partner of BalticWaters and provides funding to the foundation’s fish research laboratory.
MAT-KULING is a strategic technology partner to the foundation’s fish research laboratory.
- Stockholm University is a strategic partner and co-founder of the Thriving bays project, where Associate Professor Linda Kumblad (BalticWaters/SU) together with Emil Rydin, Joakim Hansen, and Sofia Wikström, all researchers at SU, are scientifically responsible for the project.
The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is a strategic partner to the project Circular NP – Better nutrient cycle for animal manure and through researcher Athanasios Pantelopoulos scientifically responsible for the project.
Uppsala University is a strategic partner and co-founder of the project ReCod – release of small cod in the Baltic Sea and through Professor Anssi Laurila scientifically responsible for the project.
